When Minnie, our Nigerian Dwarf goat, was born two weeks ago, we knew something was wrong. She was weak and couldn't stand on her own, so we quickly brought her inside our house to keep a close eye on her. We bottle-fed her every few hours, kept her warm and cozy, and hoped for the best.
The first few days were tough, and we weren't sure if Minnie would make it. But as time went on, she started to gain strength and energy. She began to stand on her own and even started exploring her surroundings. It was a joy to watch her grow stronger every day.
One thing we noticed about Minnie is that she loves our dogs. They're big and curious, but Minnie doesn't seem to mind. In fact, she'll often snuggle up to them and fall asleep. It's heartwarming to see the bond she's already forming with our furry friends.
Now, two weeks later, Minnie is thriving. She's growing fast and becoming more independent every day. She's still living inside with us, but her brother is outside with their mom, Daisy. We're hopeful that soon Minnie will be strong enough to join them.
Minnie's story is a reminder of the resilience and strength of animals. Despite the odds stacked against her, she fought to survive and is now thriving. We feel lucky to have played a part in her journey and can't wait to see what the future holds for this spunky little goat.
